The babysitting clinic is open to any student who has completed the 6th grade. These one day clinics teach students to be responsible, creative and safety conscious while babysitting. Topics include: Guidelines for Sitters; Feeding; Dressing; Fire Safety; Safety and Legal Responsibilities; First Aid; Responding to Emergencies; and Rescue Breathing and Choking Interventions.
At the end of the clinic, students will attend a Q&A session with a panel of parents who will discuss experiences with babysitters. Students will be given a test, awarded a certificate of course completion and have a group picture taken.
